Retired adults are a vital part of Trinity Lutheran Church and are heavily involved in ministry in the community serving in the Food Pantry, Community Food Drive, and Pot ‘O God. They also visit the homebound and help with transportation needs when asked. Mature members provide meals for those who grieve, as well as receptions for the celebrating high school graduates at baccalaureate, hosted by Trinity. Quilting and Trinity’s Annual Garage Sale are among the many ways the church’s older adults contribute their time and talents to make Trinity a vibrant ministry for Christ.
Come join many of our young at heart adults and enjoy connecting and making new friends. Together we make a difference for the Lord.

QUILTING

More than quilting. It’s a ministry. Our quilts are made for benevolent purposes, supporting Lutheran World Relief, Ronald McDonald House in Temple, and fundraisers for Lutheran Sunset Ministries. We also make quilts for newborns and for our high school graduates. “May this quilt remind you that you are clothed in Christ and surrounded in God’s love.”

Our quilters recycle bed linens and material for the quilts they sew. If you have any bed linens or material you no longer use, our quilters would gladly accept them. You may drop them off at Trinity’s church office.
